Meet the Bloggers

Jenn 

Jenn's interest in reading and writing started at a young age...she often found her imagination run amok creating adventure stories for her friends and siblings when she ran out of books to read in her small town library. Initially saddened to discover she had no real super-powers of her own, she has found contentment in reading about extraordinary abilities of her favorite books' characters. Ranking reading above housework, sleep and even chocolate, she is well and truly addicted to her new nook but will deign on occasion to "kick it old school" with a good paperback. More than anything, she loves book covers with brawny half-nekkid men and strong, butt-kicking heroines!

Jenn specializes in the delicious eye candy for our site and operates our facebook account. She primarily posts for our Wednesday Hump Days.

Kim
Kim got her start with the Harry Potter series and since then has sunk her teeth into any paranormal romance/ suspense series thrown her way. She borrows most of her reads from Tyra and Jenn who never steer her wrong. As a busy working mother with two small children, Kim steals her reading time whenever she can.

Kim is the Friday reviewer.

Cat
Rebecca's favorite place to be is in a book. As a mother of three growing boys with a busy schedule, she is more often found on a soccer field or in the car shuttling children around. And while she wouldn't give up the time she spends with her family, she escapes any chance she can get into the world of a book. Her favorite genre is contemporary romance, primarily the New Adult genre. As a natural introvert, reading gives her a chance to restore her energy and keep up with being a mom.

Shari 

Shari's kids are grown -but no so much out- which gives her more time for reading. She prefers shifters and can totally get into the m/m genre. Though she has several favorite authors, she loves Lora Leigh's breeds. Though a fully participating book club member, Shari is an occasional blogger only.

Sid
Sid got roped into our group, and into reading, and writes his feature Saturdays with Sid, Like Tuesdays with Morrie but with Kink! Sid reads mostly m/m romance but on occasion can be led astray. He leads up our midwest chapter of our book club and enjoys the life of a single man surrounded by men in spurs.

Steph 

Stephanie reads whenever she can and enjoys action-filled books that blend the romance element into the story. Always willing to host a good party -and bring along the jello shots- many book club meetings are held by her pool. While Stephanie enjoys reading with us, she rarely posts reviews. Instead, she coordinates our goodreads and twitter accounts. We couldn't do it without her!

Tyra

I have been reading since before I could talk. My love of reading came from my Grandfather, when I was little he would take me to the library with him at least once a week. To this day one of my favorite sounds was when he would flip the corner pages of a book as he was reading. I don't get a lot of quite time in my house with a husband, two very active kids and two LOUD cats, but I wouldn't trade them for anything. You can usually find me on the baseball or basketball bleachers depending on the time of year (sometimes both in one day), and you will always see me with either my ebook reader or a "real" book in my hands. I love to read things that can take me away just for a little while and I love to spend time in the worlds my favorite authors create. I am one of those people that will re-read a book several times because for me it is like visiting with old friends. Thankfully my husband likes to build things out of wood so I just tell him that it's time for another bookshelf and off to the garage he goes.
