Then he meets Alison at a friends house one 4th of July, and they set off some fireworks of their own. Now six months in the desert and all he has been able to think about is their one night together and Jon thinks it might be time to start planning for a future.

This is a menage story done right. Both sweet and spicy, this love story is one readers will embrace with all the elements a menage-for-life needs. The characters are fun. The dialogue is flirty. The interactions are genuine. Oh, and the sex is hot, hot, hot! Not overly complex, Rule of Three is just right.

There's just something -some chemistry- about Kassidy, Chris and Dag that I adore. They have this new relationship that they are each willing to accept and yet, they struggle through several defining moments during which they ask themselves if the menage is worth all the baggage that comes with it. Readers experience the insecurities of all three as they commit to their triad. The real bonus comes from the heat in the bedroom... it's absolutely delicious. I cannot wait for the next book!

This is a must read for contemporary romance fans, especially those who love menage.

It is the fault of my daughter that I am behind in my adult to be read list. She took advantage of my greek nerdiness and got me into not one part of the Percy Jackson series but the Roman side of it . Well played J, well played. Even though I'm behind in other things I want to read I'm not sorry I picked this up. I see why it's a popular series. It's got a touch of everything as the demigods get older and it has lots of action. A great read for all. If you have a child that you can't get to read try this series. I think you might have a winner.

I give this book a 5 on the young adult scale.

I jumped right into Releasing Me after finishing book one (see link to review below) because I had to know what happened to this couple. Addy and Quinn seem to perfectly balance one another but in this book, so many things go wrong. The author engages readers on their journey to happily-ever-after while allowing the authenticity of her characters. There are no easy answers as both Addy and Quinn make decisions and mistakes, forgive and heal, and never give up on love. *sigh* 

Any reader who enjoys contemporary romance will adore this couple. Read both books, in order of course!

REVIEW
Another MC Romance that strikes out on its own. The topic might be familiar but the characters and plot are unique. The layers of secrets that are peeled away throughout the story keep it interesting. The heroine deals with death and loss, heartbreak and love, drugs and lies... all those things that keep MC romances edgy. With so much going on, there isn't too much time spent focused on the heroine and her hero which would be my primary complaint. Their relationship seems authentic, and I can buy into the developing relationship through the course of all the other events, but I still wish I'd seen more of their interactions.

With so many men and some discontent between clubs still present, I hope to read more about the One Eyed Jacks soon. If you enjoy MC romances, try this one out. You won't be disappointed.

REVIEW:
I am not usually a fan of stories told in first person, I am someone who wants to know what both parties are thinking. So the characters voice really has to grab me to keep me interested and not wondering off in my mind thinking "I wonder what so and so is thinking". Lets just say that I kind of wouldn't mind living in Mac's head. Loved his funny, snarky, sarcasm and could listen to him all day.

It doesn't take long to figure out that the snark is a defense mechanism and one of the ways that Mac deals with his abandonment issues. Another way is to leave people before they can leave him. Although, in the case of Trevor he SO made the right call.

Jordan is engaged but thinks his fiancee is cheating, so he hires Mac to find out. Which seemed like a great idea at the time but now he can't stop thinking about the man....and what's up with that? What both Jordan and Mac think is just some bi-curiosity could turn out to be so much more, if either man would take a chance.

There are some great secondary characters in this story with Mac's family and assorted friends. My favorite was his work partner Drew. The back and forth between these two characters was both funny and real. Drew was not afraid to call Mac on his bullshit, and lets face it Mac really needed that in his life.

It looks like this is the first book from this author and as far as I am concerned she hit it out of the park. I will definitely be looking for more!

REVIEW
I grabbed this book because it looked like it had potential to be a good read. Hell yeah, it was... and so, so much more. The author sailed right onto my favorites shelf with her debut novel. The quirky individualism of each character, the mystery surrounding Addy's past, the combustible chemistry between Quinn and Addy, the layers of connections, the sexual heat... seriously, everything about this book worked for me. And it'll work for any reader who likes contemporary romance.

I don't believe blurb on the back of the book does this book justice. So much other stuff takes place in this book. I have to admit that as I started reading I became fussy a bit. I thought there were going to be several story lines going on and I was going to be into some more than others which makes me want to skip/scan those chapters and get to the ones I like. However this was not the case. I equally enjoyed all the story lines from Sola and Assail, Beth and Wrath, Skor and Layla and Wrath's parents. I have a special place in my world for this series. The first book in this series was the first book Tyra gave me when we first met. so once again if you haven't read this series summertime is here and what more of a perfect time.

I give this book 5 chocolate dipped strawberries.

Review
This is the third book I've read in the series. The focus now shifts to Ream and Kat, two characters readers couldn't help but be curious about as their story begins in the background of those other two books. However, their story is still a bit confusing at the beginning of Overwhelmed By You. I had a lot of WTF moments and wondered if I should've re-read the other books since it had been so long. There wasn't much in the way of transitions but...

I couldn't help but fall into their story. These characters are intense, but not as lost as Logan and Emily. Ream and Kat are entangled in misunderstandings, half-truths, and a series of deceptions that worked against them to keep them apart. The best part (of any romance, really) is that their love and willingness to sacrifice for the other is what pulls them through their dark times. Readers can't deny that these two characters would do anything to keep the other safe.

Nashoda Rose has this way of sucker-punching you. Be prepared. Just when I thought the characters had gone through the ugly stuff and were coasting to their HEA, another plot twist comes along and can be felt in your gut. Then she still gave me a satisfying ending so I'll forgive the twist. What a story!

REVIEW
This might be my favorite book in the series. I like Eric and Sarah more than Tucker and Cass. There's still all that drama and angst, sex and music but these two characters are easier to invest in. Although Eric and Sarah’s childhood stories broke my heart, their possibility of an HEA filled me with hope. There was an undeniable connection that makes readers know the characters are right for one another. The fact that everyone around them knew they were in love before Eric and Sarah admitted it themselves adds a fun element to the story.

Though a few lighter moments were sprinkled in, Eric and Sarah's story is not light. It's dark, brooding and angst-filled. But the ending makes all those darker moments worth the read.

Nick was silent as he looked out on the moonlit fields. They were peaceful now, but it seemed there were echoes of gunfire and cannon blasting, bayonets clashing, men and horses screaming in fear and pain.

“It doesn’t really matter why, or how history writes it down,” Nick said. “The only thing that matters is that every man out there believed in what he was doing. REVIEW:
If National Treasure and the Godfather had a baby it would be Cross & Crown!

I enjoyed this book with it's complex story line, interesting well researched historical facts and Nick & Kelly in all their fabulous fabulousness!

Nick is finally back on regular duty after donating a piece of his liver to his craptastic father, and picks up an unusual robbery/homicide case right before Kelly is due for a visit. He still has moments of PTSD and is still dealing with his anger towards Ty, but Nick and Kelly are stronger than ever.

Kelly comes to town to find Nick knee deep in a mystery but instead of just sitting back and watching his man in action he gets to join in on the fun as well.

We have a hottie suspect/victim with amnesia, a search for some missing treasure and JULIAN FREAKIN' CROSS! How could you ask for more? What we don't have is Liam Bell but for me that just makes the anticipation (said in my best Dr. Frank N. Furter voice) for the next book even greater.

I have fallen for Nick & Kelly hook, line and sinker!
